EXCLUSIVE DESIGN CAFE-RESTAURANT ON KIACHELI STREET

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Just 3-4 months ago, we started a new project in one of the old, colorful districts of Tbilisi. At the request of the client, we were tasked with creating an interesting and creative, yet comfortable environment for a café-bar within a 145 square meter space. As always, our team carefully reviewed the client’s requirements, which resulted in the creation of the first conceptual sketch. The task was to understand what the client wanted, which demographic and age group they were targeting, and the budget available for the design project. After this, our team began thinking about the concept and selecting materials for the most exclusive design to accurately reflect the needs of the target audience the client intended to cater to. Following a situational analysis of the layout, the entire space underwent reconstruction, and preparations for renovation began. Simultaneously, we started working on the project and design. We would like to highlight that the inspiration for this specific design came from the trends presented at the 2019 Paris Furniture and Lighting International Exhibition. Although our team attends international exhibitions every year and strives to create beautiful and unique interiors based on the latest trends, we also carefully consider the feasibility of implementing these trends. Therefore, the "ROOM DESIGN GALLERY" team, together with the lead designer, carefully reviewed the client's budget for the project and determined what could be achieved within the allocated financial limits, as well as which category of brand products should be used. In this case, both the client’s desires and financial possibilities allowed us to avoid cutting corners on the interior design and finishes, giving us the opportunity to use brands that set the global fashion trends.

Project: Commercial Property, Horeca Sector, Restaurant

Completed work: interior, exterior.

Completion date: February 5, 2022.

After completing the design project, we began its implementation. To ensure maximum comfort for the guests, we separated the entrance area from the main space with a decorative partition, on which we placed original accessories and elements of greenery. The main space itself was divided with exclusive Spanish brand ceramic-granite tiles, the colors of which were organically matched with modern moss-green velvet armchairs and tables with marble surfaces. Above the tables, we selected black cylindrical pendant lights with graphic patterns. For the walls, we chose neutral-toned wallpaper, which harmoniously blended with the existing interior and gradually transitioned into the textures and decorative wallpaper of the following zones. As for the main space, the zones were separated by original design ceramic-granite tiles, the colors of which organically repeated the main background ceramic-granite tiles and, at the same time, complemented the moss-green color of the armchairs and the chestnut rose of the wall, stretching along its length.

INTERIOR DESIGN SOLUTIONS

To create a particularly elevated and cozy atmosphere in the main space, we used decorative wallpaper on one of the walls, featuring ornaments that synchronize with the oval shapes of the armchairs. The colors blend naturally with the pale pink of the armchairs and the tones of the marble tables. One of the main and interesting elements in the space is the small stage. To highlight it, we used the same exclusive brand's decorative tiles as those on the bar's facade. In this way, we solved two tasks: we distinguished the stage and, using the same decor, created a unified space. The decorative lighting fixtures, made of brass and crystal, add a more refined note to the restaurant's interior and fit perfectly into the natural and organic color scheme of the space. Each area places great importance on the design of the restroom. In this case, we used a color palette that organically complements the colors used in the main interior. The walls are enlivened by an original solution – decorative tiles framed and a round-shaped mirror, which creates a greater sense of space. In order to create a space for smokers, we added a terrace leading out to the yard, which was completely enclosed by transparent glass panels. This way, we preserved the sense of space and created a cozy and comfortable environment. By placing the same style furniture and accessories as in the main hall, we were able to make this zone an organic part of the main space. In the end, we achieved the maximum peaceful colors and atmosphere, conveying a mood that flows monotonously throughout the entire space.
The space designated for smokers brings an especially elegant and graceful atmosphere with Vietnamese-style chairs and oval-shaped pale pink armchairs, in which the colors of the Chesterfield chairs used in the main hall are repeated to maintain the unity of the space. This graceful mood is further enhanced by the round shapes of the mirrors and transparent lighting. An additional accent is provided by the light-colored ceramic granite tiles, which complement the tones and forms of the furniture. One of the surprises for guests is the area designated for private parties, where a homely and comfortable environment has been created for the customers. Soft velvet-covered furniture was chosen to create a particularly cozy ambiance. The lounge zone's atmosphere continues with unique decorative lighting, which occupies most of the lighting space and evenly distributes light throughout the area. The live greenery and traditional-style fireplace surface create a more vintage and calming mood, where guests can unwind by the fire after a tiring day. As for the facade, we tried to make it fit as much as possible into the architectural and urban standards of the area. We congratulate our clients on the successful completion of the project and hope that we have created a particularly pleasant and memorable environment for their customers, where the desire to visit will arise time and time again.
